Hey there! How are you? It's been a minute.
Sooooo, I’m pivoting.
As I move through this season of fluctuating temperatures and the dreaded time change (ugh!), it feels like the perfect opportunity for a pivot. Insert Friends joke.
While I've enjoyed our discussions about nutrition, I've come to recognize that the future of this newsletter isn't just about nourishing our children; it's also about delving into the adventures of motherhood too.
Don’t get me wrong, I'm still passionate about food and nutrition, but I want to spice things up a bit. I want to broaden our conversations. I want to share stories about mental health and personal essays. Let’s swap notes about our favorites products and recipes.
It's not just about debating the pros/cons of applesauce pouches or brainstorming ways to get our kids eat broccoli. It’s also about how we nourish ourselves, cut ourselves some slack, and fortify our connections with one another (strong enough to withstand a toddler tantrum!).
I'm excited to establish a deeper connection with you. I’m excited to dive into the beautiful chaos of raising kids with you.
So, buckle up those carseats - we’re going for a ride!
I’m excited!
Love, Dahlia
FEED ME:
Have you tried the new Lucy Rose apples? Prepare for snack time magic because these sweet apples are stunningly and surprisingly pink!
I’m always looking for a new nut-free snack for lunch boxes and Made Good’s new pizza-flavored crackers check all the boxes.
Guess what rocked our world recently? Granola butter, and let me tell you, we're more than just fans—we're full-blown enthusiasts! This stuff is like the superhero of spreads. Slather it on sandwiches, swirl it into yogurt, or jazz up your oatmeal—it's so flavorful! Our top pick? Vanilla!
NOURISH ME:
Every winter, my hands turn into a dry, cracked mess because, let's be real, who has time to remember hand cream? But not anymore! I now stash this gem on my nightstand. It's fragrance-free (yay for sensitive noses like mine) and a little goes a long way—total game-changer!
My lips suffer the winter blues too, but I'm determined to up my lip care game (I've got this, right?).
put me onto this whipped shea butter for lips, and let me tell you, it's a hydration hero. No more 90's lip gloss vibes — definitely adding this to my repurchase list!ENTERTAIN ME:
I might be fashionably late to the party, but I'm hooked on the ACOTAR series. After Harry Potter, I never thought I'd dive back into fantasy, but boy, did this series prove me wrong!
I’m on a mission to spice up the kid’s bedtime routine and I’m thinking about introducing chapter books. I went thrifting this week and scored a few Junie B. Jones and Magic Treehouse books - total blasts from the past, right?! Let the bedtime adventures begin!
I really enjoyed reading
piece, ‘granola curious’ - I love her sense of humor!STYLE ME:
Anyone who knows me knows I won't drop a fortune on clothes (hello spit-up and PBJ sticky fingers!), especially workout gear. Amazon came through, and these leggings are pure perfection—like, seriously buttery soft. I have three pairs!
Since moving to Missouri, I’ve had to embrace colder weather and upgrade the kid’s winter gear. I repurchased these Target boots for my son because they’re cute, practical, and cozy!
COOK ME
From start to finish, this delicious blueberry crisp is ready to eat in under 20 minutes. A weekly staple in our house.
I haven't whipped this up yet, but it's been hanging out on my to-do list for weeks. I’m thinking it could be the ultimate challah dip for Shabbat dinner. Yum, I feel cozy already. Thank you

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about aging. While I don’t feel ‘old’ necessarily, I definitely feel a shift now that I’m a few years into my 30s. I really enjoyed reading
’s goodbye piece to her ‘hot girl era.’ What are your thoughts on age and beauty?
Love the new format, Dahlia! Exciting stuff! Hope there’s a place for more than just moms, too, though!
My wife loves ACOTAR and I begrudgingly agreed to listen to the audiobooks with her. Was really pleasantly surprised! (Though we did skip over the particularly spicy scenes...). She’s got a whole laundry list of other similar series, which I’m sure you’ll move on to next.
Love the pivot and am so excited to hear your perspective on all things motherhood as the supermom of 3. And thank you for sharing the dip! I hope you get to make and enjoy it soon :)
